Been meaning to do this for a bit now... Bah.
karou_doji - Tim McLees. EWIC Owner/Webmaster.
arjei - RJ Bachler. LJ community moderator.
Introductory post: It's done everywhere else. Basically newbie introductory posts are neither encouraged nor discouraged.
Posting: Use your common sense. If it seems inappropriate, a bunch of pictures, or just really long, then either use a LJ-cut with some kind of warning, (like porn for instance) or just don't post it.
And if you post something here and ask for C&C, (Like people do for MSTings on the message boards.) you're probably going to get it. But don't go whining about it because it's not the ego stroking you expected. You asked for it, you're getting it, both positive and negative remarks. Deal with it.
The one thing I have a problem with is test results. You have you own journal to do that in. Not here. A link to a quiz or something like it? Yeah, that I'll let fly. Results? No.
Bannings and such: Unless you are a known troublemaker for SVAM/EWIC or a troll, I'll be real damned mellow and lenient. Basically don't screw up too much and you won't get smacked.
If you are one of the types of people mentioned above, you can go ahead and try something. Just so you know as of right now: The banstick has been fully tested, and tis mighty indeed. So using it is not a problem.
Any revisions to the FAQ will be both posted when they occur and this post will be revised.
And even though it was last week, (And I procrastinated. ¬_¬) the minor site news:
EWIC shop reopened.
Forum links set up.
Message boards transferred over.
